View of the Grand Staircase of the Arenas in Arles, with its Roman arcades and two human silhouettes at the bottom. On the reverse, handwritten message 'Fresh greetings!' signed 'Léon', addressed to Mr. Gaston Béruil at the Consulate in Marseille, with a 25 centimes postage stamp and a Marseille postmark of 28 May 1915.
