Description

Postcard showing the Romanesque portal of Saint-Trophime in Arles, with inscription indicating it is a masterpiece of Greek craftsmanship, begun in 1221 by Hugues Bervard and completed by Jean Beausson. The reverse bears an address to Madame Lavezard in Lyon, a handwritten inscription 'Bonnes amitiés' and a 28-centime postage stamp canceled in Brest on Rhône.
