Description

Portal of the Saint-Trophime Cathedral in Arles, a masterpiece of Gothic art, begun in 1221 by Archbishop Hugues Bernard and completed by Jean Beausson. The front shows a detailed view of the sculpted façade with statues and a central tympanum. The back is blank, with a handwritten inscription 'B. Rhône' at the top right.
