Description

Devastated view of the interior of a church in Armancourt (Somme) after the war 1914-1915, with a central altar, a cross of Jesus, and a Maltese cross decoration, under a partially collapsed ceiling. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated June 8, 1917, addressed to a recipient in Paris, and mentions the publisher Huret, 15 rue de Saint-Quentin, Paris.
