Arrival of a fishing boat in Royan, with spectators under umbrellas on the dock and a domed building in the background. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 23/8/1909 from Royan to Bordeaux, addressed to Mme Laure, with a 'GARONNE POSTE' stamp and a note 'CPAPHIL'.
