View of the beach at Arromanches with several tents set up along the water's edge at low tide, with people sitting or walking, and buildings lining the promenade in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated July 29, 1905, sent from Calvados to Chartres, with a 10-centime stamp and a postmark from Arromanches.
