View of the beach in Arromanches-les-Bains with children playing in the sand and beach tents lined up near a quay. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 9 July 1929 addressed to Madame L. Cordeau in Nantes, with a 40-centime postage stamp and a postmark from Caumont-sur-Mer.
