Description

Panoramic view of Arromanches with a commemorative obelisk in the foreground, overlooking a beach and a coastal village. The printed text at the bottom of the front indicates the commemoration of the centenary of the naval battle of 7 and 8 September 1811. On the reverse, a French postcard with a 18-centime stamp and handwritten text addressed to Madame Victor Wassein in Chancy, with a postmark from Saint-Valery-sur-Somme dated 18 September 1911.
