Description

Commemorative statue in Asnières depicting a rescue dog, Barry, carrying a child. The inscription on the base mentions that he saved 40 lives and died at the 41st. In the background, the urban landscape of the city is visible. The reverse bears a handwritten letter dated August 7, 1922, addressed to Mr. S. C. A. Houston in London, with a 10-centime postmark and a cancellation from Bresse.
