Vintage postcard showing a woman in a patterned dress holding a small girl in front of a gate. The printed text at the bottom is in Creole: 'Siquio té qui mo djento pito / Toun paï d'en villo vai tourna / En attenti té vaï counta / L'historio dé lo beletto' and 'Sit down there, my pretty little one / Your father is coming back from town / In the meantime I will tell you / The story of the weasel'. Reverse: handwritten French text announcing a return to Limoges, a train departure for Bellac, and a visit to the barracks.
