View of the Town Hall of Auch, an imposing building with balcony and ornate roof, on a lively square with pedestrians and a velocipede. Printed text at the bottom: 'AUCH - Town Hall'. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence addressed to 'Monsieur Jean-Baptiste Cabarens at l'Île de Nue' with a note on a trip to Mirande. 4-cent postage stamp and cancellation mark 'AUCH 15 40 3-12'.
