Sepia view of the cliffs of Étretat with visitors at the base of the cliffs and a cloudy sky. On the reverse, a postcard sent from Ault-Onival (Sonne) to Mme Baye in Colombes (Seine), with a French postage stamp from 1890 and a cancellation mark dated 10-9-45. The publisher is listed as 'Edition and Cliché A. Terrée, Photo-Mers'.
