Postcard showing the ruins of a Roman building in Autun, identified as the Temple of Janus, with stone arches and a small visitor in the shade. The reverse has a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Monsieur and Roger Elbriastre in Villeneuve-sur-Yonne, with two French Republic stamps (20c rose and 10c blue) and a Paris cancellation.
