Description

View of the Temple of Janus in Autun, a ruin 25 meters high dating from before Christ, of which some claim it served as a site for consulting augurs. The reverse bears a handwritten address to Villereneuve-sur-Yonne (Yonne) and a 3-franc postage stamp with cancellation from Autun, 28-5-1917.
