View of the Porte Saint-André in Autun, a Roman monument with three arches and a row of windows, a cart pulled by a horse crosses the opening. Printed text at the bottom: 'Autun. — Porte Saint-André, Roman Period.' On the reverse, handwritten address to Paris, correspondence sent to the address of Mr. Jaffray, 1st floor, rue d'Anteuil, Paris. Blue postmark with the effigy of Napoleon III, cancellation 'AUTUN 16 40 31 05 1907'.
