Café scene in La Bourrée d'Aubergne, with locals in traditional attire in a street lined with a 'Café et Vins' establishment dated 1899. The back features a handwritten correspondence addressed to 'M. Laure Poncel' in 'Micy' with a note of 'Bonjour à la mamie' and a cancellation mark from 'CHALLIET' dated 1935. A 10-centime French Republic postmark.
