Description

View of the Vauban Barracks in Auxerre, with a soldier in uniform crossing the snowy entrance, framed by bare trees and a metal gate. On the reverse, a green 20-centime stamp, a postmark from Auxerre, and a handwritten address to Georges Gaullot in Toulon. Printed text on the reverse states that foreign countries do not accept correspondence at the recio.
