Description

View of Saint-Étienne Cathedral in Auxerre, whose construction began in 1215 and whose choir dates from 1303. The printed text mentions the length of the building (98 m.50) and the 13th-century crypt. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 1920 is addressed to Mr. Gosselin in Montrichard, with a 15-cent postage stamp and a cancellation mark from Auxerre dated August 20, 1920.
