View of the Bátardeau in Auxerre, with a small stone building in the middle of a lake bordered by forest. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated 1916, addressed to M. M. Moyar in Paris, with the inscription 'Military Correspondence' and the signature of Captain Guyard.
