View of the Paul-Bert Bridge in Auxerre, with three women under umbrellas on the quay. The printed text indicates that this bridge, one of the oldest in the valley, was partially rebuilt in 1192 and restored in 1858 with cast-iron balustrades and sidewalks. On the reverse, the publisher is Toulot, Publisher, Auxerre, and the card bears the inscription 'INF. PHOT. NELSENNEIN ET CIE, 52, AV. DE BRETAGNE — PARIS'.
