Description

View of the clock of Auxerre, built in the middle of the 15th century, around 1457, with a mechanism indicating solar time, sunrise and sunset, as well as the phases of the moon. The reverse features a handwritten address to Madame Auguste W. L. de Gomme, with a postmark from Chézeno (Cheseno) dated 28 July 1908.
