Description

View of the Saint-Pierre gate, a Renaissance building of the Saint-Pierre abbey, in ruins with two recumbent statues adorning the tympanum. Printed text mentions its construction date (16th century) and inscriptions. Reverse: handwritten correspondence from Louis Leornes to Mme Rainbault in Montargis, dated April 28, 1909, with Montargis postmark and cancellation.
