Black and white view of the Clock Tower in Auxerre, dated around 1930, with a paved street flanked by old buildings and a crowd of pedestrians. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to 'Ma chère Georgette' dated September 1st, signed 'A. Dridi', mentioning holidays in Guerchy and difficulty writing from Paris.
