Black and white view of the Gate of the Clock in Auxerre, a medieval gate adorned with a clock face, framed by timber-framed buildings. On the reverse, a postcard sent from Auxerre, with a 15-centime postage stamp and a cancellation mark dated May 21, 1939. The address is directed to Danielle Quievit in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés (Seine).
