View of a ruined fortress castle, the square tower from the 14th century in Sermur, in the surroundings of Auzances (Creuse). The reverse side bears a handwritten address to Madame Raoul Pacaud in Besançon, with two postage stamps (15c and 5c) and a partially canceled postmark. The publisher is indicated at the bottom left of the front side.
