Description

Black and white view of the Clock Tower in Avallon, a medieval tower with a clock and pepperpot roof, overlooking a paved street lined with shuttered houses. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Depoix in Paris, with two green 15-centime stamps and a postmark from Avallon dated 7-9-05.
