View of the Saint-Lazare Church in Avallon, with its ornate Romanesque portal and bell tower. Printed text at the top: 'r bis, AVALLON L'Église Saint-Lazare'. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Henriette in Loudun, with an address to H. Tiberant in Saint-Lô. A green 5-centime postage stamp, postmarked 'AVALLON 1907'.
