Description

Panoramic view of the Place de l'Hôtel-de-Ville in Avignon, featuring the Centenary Monument, the town hall and the Jacquemard clock tower, with the theatre in the background. The reverse bears a handwritten address to Messieurs Béranger at the Hôtel du Louvre in Uriage-les-Bains (Isère), a 30-centime postage stamp and a cancellation from Avignon dated 22 August 1938.
