Description

View of the Palais des Papes in Avignon, highlighting the main facade and the Campanile Tower. The printed text explains that the part closest to the cathedral was built under Pope John XXII (1315-1342) and that Pope Clement VI continued the work of his predecessors. On the reverse, the publisher 'Edition Artistique CI. F. Beau' and an address in Avignon are found, along with a handwritten inscription '84 3€' and a number '10'.
