Description

Historical view of the Saint-Bénézet Bridge in Avignon, illustrating its 19 arches as they were in the 16th century, with landmarks such as the Tour Philippe-le-Bel and the Port Saint-André. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Légay in Aix-en-Provence, dated April 27th, 1939, with a 70-centime postage stamp and a cancellation from Montpellier.
