View of the medieval walls of Avignon with the gate of l'Oulle, bare trees, an ox cart, and two men in period clothing. On the reverse, handwritten address to M. Henri Gallier in Beauvais, postmark and stamp of Beauvais from 26/09/1901, with mention 'France Algeria Tunisia'.
