View of the Notre-Dame-des-Doms church in Avignon, destroyed in the 8th century by the Saracens and rebuilt under the auspices of Charlemagne, whose name comes from the monks of Lerins. The reverse bears handwritten correspondence dated April 1, 1919, addressed to a recipient in Bressanone, with a mention of 'Postcard' in the top right corner.
