View of Place de l'Hôtel-de-Ville in Avignon, centered on the commemorative monument of the annexation of Comtat-Venaissin to France, adorned with sculptures and a lion in low relief. In the foreground, a lamppost and a building with a sign 'Grand Bar Pujade'. The reverse has a 5-centime stamp, a Marseille cancellation dated May 12, 1912, and handwritten text addressed to Miss Clarisse Ducrot in Corcieu (Ain).
