View of the Pont Saint-Bénézet in Avignon, built in 1177 by Bénézet, shepherd of Vivarais, and partially collapsed in 1569. Printed text at the top of the front. Reverse: handwritten address to 'Underwood Stock, 10 rue Sombre, Paris' and correspondence to 'Plongeon, Plomion'. Green 5-centime stamp of the French Republic, canceled.
