Description

View of the Tour Saint-Jean in Avignon, with an inscription indicating its restoration under Napoleon III and its former occupants (Templars, Knights of Malta, Brothers of the Christian Schools). On the reverse, a postcard dated 19 March 1904, addressed to Jeanne Durand at the library of Valence station, with a handwritten message 'Bonjou' and a 5-centime stamp canceled.
