View of a commemorative monument to Pierre Henri II in AFRANCHES, with a statue on a pedestal surrounded by chains. The printed text at the bottom of the front relates the history of Thomas Becket's abjuration. The reverse has handwritten text dated July 1st, 1932, addressed to 'Mme M. Mouley' in Yarmouth, and mentions the publisher G. Artaud, Nantes.
