View of the Arège Falls at Castelet in the Pyrénées-Ariégeoises, with a mountainous landscape and a cascading river. The reverse side features a handwritten letter addressed to Madame J. Causrin in Paris, dated September 1st, with a 10-centime stamp and a postmark from Aix-les-Thermes.
