Description

View of the Azay-le-Rideau castle, classified as a beautiful creation of the First Renaissance, with inscription indicating its confiscation from Gilles Berthelot by François Ier and its acquisition by the State in 1909. Reverse: handwritten address to Madame and Monsieur Garnier in Paris, signature of Lucienne, and a 1 franc postage stamp with cancellation.
