Description

Interior view of the ruins of the Temple of the Sun at Baalbeck, with partially collapsed Corinthian columns and a central passage leading to a mountainous landscape. The printed text at the top indicates the location and subject. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated July 25, 1915, addressed to a lieutenant, mentions the health condition and the beauty of the ruins, signed by G. Dannubotz. The publisher is printed at the bottom of the reverse.
