Aerial view of Bacharach, on the banks of the Rhine, showing a stone castle on the left, a church with a pointed spire in the center, and Gothic ruins on the right. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to 'Mademoiselle Adeline Petit' in Troyes (Aube), with two German Empire postage stamps (1906) and a cancellation stamp of 'BACHARACH' dated July 30, 1906.
