Black and white aerial view of Bad Ems, showing the winding river surrounded by wooded hills and buildings along the banks. On the reverse, a postcard dated April 28, 1916, sent to Madame Elise Fatton in Paris, with a 15 pfennig stamp and a cancellation from Bad Ems. The handwritten message mentions a planned return around September 25.
