Black and white view of the entrance to the village of Balazé in Brittany, with a tree-lined street, a church with a pointed spire in the background, and two people on the path. On the reverse, a French postcard stamped with 10 centimes, with a circular cancellation from Rennes dated 23 November 1914, addressed to Mademoiselle M. Garnier in Rennes, and a handwritten message: 'Best regards from the gardeners, Adèle'.
