Black and white view of the tree-lined promenade of Mathaux in Bar-sur-Aube, with trees aligned on both sides of a central path. The reverse side features a handwritten letter addressed to Miss Louise Wagner in Bar-sur-Aube, dated 1921, with a green 5-centime stamp and two obliterated 10-centime stamps.
