Description

Illustrated postcard depicting Bernadette Soubirous as a shepherdess in Bartres, near Lourdes, in 1857, before the apparitions. She is shown with a flock of sheep in front of a stone cabin. On the reverse, a postmark is canceled with a circular stamp 'BARTRES (H.-P.)' and the publisher 'Maison Bernadette' is mentioned, with the note 'ÉDITION DOUCET LOURDES'.
