Black and white aerial view of the three Rhine bridges in Basel, with the river in the foreground and the city rooftops in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated April 5, 1924, sent from Basel to Paris, addressed to Miss Marguerite Claude, mentioning a delicious breakfast and a pleasant journey. The 20-cent Swiss stamp is canceled with the Basel postmark.
