Scene of life in Lower Normandy where an elderly woman, dressed in a white bonnet and patterned dress, teaches a little girl to knit. The reverse bears handwritten correspondence dated April 22, 1919, addressed to Mr. G. Petitpied in Saint-Étienne, with a stamp and cancellation from Montreuil (Marne).
