Description

Postcard showing the wrecks of the ship "Liberté" (14,868 tons) after its disaster on September 25, 1911 at 5:55 am in the harbor of Toulon, causing about 400 victims. The reverse has a handwritten correspondence addressed to Monsieur Comte, rue des Porssonnières, Neuilly-sur-Seine, with a mention of the publisher E. Le Deyre, Lyon, and a 5-centime green stamp with cancellation.
