Description

Postcard showing the wreckage of the ship "Liberté" (14,868 tons) which sank in the harbor of Toulon on September 25, 1911 at 5:55, causing about 400 victims. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. Auguste Ettemand in Hyères, with a 10-centime stamp and two cancellations: Toulon 10-9-1911 and Hyères 10-9-1911.
