Description

Postcard showing the salvage of the ship "Liberté" (14,868 tonnes) after its disaster on 25 September 1911 at 5:55 am in the harbor of Toulon, causing about 400 victims. The reverse side is blank, with a note at the bottom left: "All foreign countries not accepting correspondence on the front should inquire at the Post Office".
