Description

Postcard showing the wrecks of the ship "Liberté" (14,868 tonnes) after its disaster on 25 September 1911 at 5:55 am in the harbor of Toulon, causing about 400 victims. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated 20 November 1911, sent from Toulon to Madame Chevasson in Champagnole (Jura), with a 10-centime stamp and a Toulon postmark.
